Comment:
I thought a bit about `nth_root()` but couldn't easily make it faster.
Hence I just made two very minor fixes: raise an `AssertionError` instead
of a `ValueError` if we don't find the root (since this should never
happen) and move the TODO to the docstring.
Since the basic functionality of the ticket is usable, I'm setting it to
`needs_review`.
