 I've taken the liberty to fix some grammar. Also, I changed "free small
 category" to "path semigroup" a couple times, and I believe it would help
 to do the same everywhere else or explain how the path semigroup becomes a
 free small category explicitly (it's a bit confusing because the order of
 the edges in how one usually writes a path is the opposite of the order in
 which one composes arrows in a category).
