 As a mostly irrelevant side remark, here is a curious error message from
 the doctest framework:

 sage.functions.special.elliptic_j.EllipticE
 Failed example:
     elliptic_e(0.5, 0.1)  # abs tol 1e-15
 Expected:
     0.498011394498832
 Got:
     0.498011394498831
 Tolerance exceeded: 1e-15 > 1e-15
 }}}
 I'll just change it to 2e-15, then...
