 I would say that the best is to sort the input even when `copy=False`,
 what do you think ? With a warning in the documentation of the `copy`
 argument of course, saying that the list/blocks will be reordered (and
 that the user should not touch that) ?...

 This being said, the way equality is written it will still return false
 negatives as `[1,2,3] != (1,2,3)` ...
