Sorry, I wasn't clear. I meant that the current code in this ticket
doesn't allow the filenames, and if one enabled it, it would be kind of
useless since there is no access to the cell directory. My counterexample
to that is that one might want to use `filename=DATA+'foo'` or something
to put a graphic file in the data directory, though I haven't tested
whether this actually works.
