(empty set as opposed to a set that doesn't exist): False seemed to make
more sense to us. Obviously wouldn't make a different from the point of
view of the actual algorithm so let me know if you feel strongly about it.
My suggestion would be to return `None`; this is what we do for crystals
for a similar situation. AFAIK, there is no standard (or other similar
case for that matter) in Sage about this.
