Maybe your git diff is just misconfigured?
1. Inheriting from !SageObject is also used to decide whether Sage's rich
display system applies. Either way you'd have to refactor the code if you
wanted to turn it into a self-contained library and taking out !SageObject
would be the least of your worries.
