Ah, I meant to say `if len(tst)%2 != 0 or tst !=
range(-len(tst)/2,len(tst)/2+1)` so that `len(tst)` is guaranteed to be
divisible by 2. Does that work better? Thanks for catching the missing
parenthesis on the except statement.
