anyway.
Mark's last commit did change to lazy import and did not fix the doctest.

I think this may not have to do with what is loaded on startup, but rather
what is loaded during other tests coming earlier in the docstring. If this
test is moved to the top of the docstring, it will give a different
result. See !comment:107.
