I agree that in this particular case it could be useful to keep it in one
piece. However, if mmarco is willing to do the work to split this into
coherent separate tickets that could be easily reviewed by people other
than the authors, that is certainly not a bad idea. For one thing, it
might be possible for him to create a few tickets of material that he did
''not'' write and could just give positive review to. I'm sorry I haven't
been able to help figure this out better although I think it should be
very high priority, but I had a very busy year and couldn't learn enough
knot theory algorithms to do this yet, nor to convince any knot theorist
friends to take the time to learn Sage yet.
