#5994: singular.version() yields an error when first called, has no doctest, and
has a strange output imo

> adding an empty `$SAGE_ROOT/local/share/singular/help.cnf` suppresses
the error.
Then that should be done instead of wrapping the call in a `try`/`except`
block (which is a really ugly "solution")
