 From your data, it looks like the implementation on #19011 is the better
 one to use (except for perhaps small cases). My recommendation would be to
 add an `algorithm` argument for the Jones polynomial which dispatches to
 the correct algorithm (with the default being #19011). That way we can use
 both as extra verification of the result and the user can choose the other
 algorithm if the default happens to be slower.
