Run the command `grep -R SAGE_DEBUG build/pkgs/` to see the uses of
`SAGE_DEBUG`: most test whether it is "yes".
On OS X 10.10 with `SAGE_DEBUG=yes` for the entire Sage build, `maxima`
fails to build, `zn_poly` and `singular` build successfully. (I do not
have `SAGE_CHECK` set, by the way.)
