 Hello,

 I don't know what Matthieu is currently doing. Note that I have a similar
 proposal for infinite words in #19620 (with branch whose tests pass). In
 that case the underlying data is not a list but a `char *` from C. Though,
 the idea is exactly the same. It would be nice to have the same
 conventions in both cases.

 I can provide an implementation for this ticket based on the architecture
 #19620. We might see later on whether power series needs some raw C
 datatype as well. Are you willing to review Daniel?
