There currently is a class {{{Stream}}} in the species code, which is
really a relatively poor implementation of what the code in this ticket
does, and I'm quite eager to replace it.
`stream` sounds good to me (from the definition of `stream` from your wiki
link, it seems that they are lazy by default, so no need to put that into
the name).
