 Sure?  It's usually ''not'' in `$PATH`, but in some subfolder of
 clang/LLVM, on Linux for example in /usr/local/clang-X.Y/bin/`.

 Hmmm, the `-x assembler` should only be necessary if the input comes from
 a pipe, or the filename doesn't end with `.s`, `.S`, `.asm` or the like.
