check (which apparently simply tests whether the compiler ''accepts the
option'', but nothing beyond that -- I haven't looked into the code
though).
Because this now hits us on older Linux distros as well (where Sage's GCC
gets built), I think we should fix the NTL package (or any package which
tries to use `-march=native`) quickly ''on another ticket'' (making it a
blocker for Sage 7.3).
