Wow, this is looking very good!
MatrixFunctor.__init__, is there not a module category that could be used
in place of {{{CommutativeAdditiveGroups}}}? I guess if tbe basering is
unknown then that's more difficult.
Missing periods on {{{VectorFunctor.__cmp__}}} and
{{{VectorFunctor.merge}}}. I agree with the logic for that merge function.
That's all I've seen so far (and I've read most of the patch.) You've
fixed a lot of bugs too. Pending doctests passing, I'd say this is ready
for a positive review.
