I've done a rebased/updated version of jhpalmieri's library code patch,
and checked that it doesn't conflict with any of the 103 (!) positively
reviewed non-spkg patches on trac. (I've also checked to see that none of
those 103 patches adds any tabs).
Let's get this in ASAP, before it starts happening again.
