Comment:
If you don't mind I'd suggest to open a new ticket to address the libfac
issue (by including libfac in the Macaulay SPKG for example). Right now,
we have crashes in Sage because of bugs in older versions of Singular and
I'd like to focus on fixing those for now. With the updated patch I'll
attach in a minute, I'm down to two doctest failures with the most recent
Singular version:
{{{
sage -t devel/sage/sage/rings/polynomial/toy_d_basis.py # 3 doctests
failed
sage -t devel/sage/sage/rings/polynomial/multi_polynomial_element.py # 4
doctests failed
}}}
