I'm attaching a patch which reports:

Pari will be tuned for your system since you set SAGE_TUNE_pari="yes".
This can take a long time.
WARNING: Tuning Pari is VERY unreliable. You may find your build
of Pari fails, or Pari does not work properly once built.

To minimize Sage build time and to ensure the best relieability,
Pari will not be tuned for your system. Experience shows tuning
is unreliable - see
http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/9343
If you wish to test the tuning code, set the environment
variable SAGE_TUNE_pari=yes by typing the following
before building Sage (or at least before building Pari):
SAGE_TUNE_pari=yes
export SAGE_TUNE_pari

depending on whether {{{SAGE_TUNE_pari}}} i set to "yes" or not.
