After testing various combinations of installed (graphics) packages and
PARI configure options ({{{$PARI_EXTRA_OPTS}}}) on 64-bit Fedora 13,
32-bit and 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04, I'm now quite confident with it and will
"release" PARI 2.3.5.p4.
I've replaced the p4-preview diff by a Mercurial patch, and will shortly
provide a link to the "final" spkg, with all changes committed.

(I've so far only tested the spkg on top of Sage 4.5.3.alpha0 and
4.5.3.alpha1.)
