 and I've personally tested it with parallel builds many times.

  * 127 times on !OpenSolaris using my Sun Ultra 27 with 12 threads.
  * 50 times on Solaris 10 (t2.math) with 128 threads.
  * 13 times on HP-UX. Single threaded only - this is a uni-processor
 machine.

 In each case, all iconv's tests pass.

 Perhaps Leif could add a reviewer patch for anything else he feels needs
 addressing, as it should be very minor now.
