OK, here's one way of testing this (perhaps). I made an input file for gp
which computes that same example:
http://www.warwick.ac.uk/staff/J.E.Cremona/pari-test.gp
To test this save the file and run it using {{{sage -gp pari-test.gp}}}.
If nothing goes wrong it should output some stuff ending with
{{{
%11 = 2.386623822 E-29
}}}
