 In general though, we should not be upgrading to pre-release versions just
 because one person needs a feature that's only available in a pre-release.
 Everyone should not have to suffer the extra risks a pre-release gives
 unless there are compelling arguments for it.

 I realise in this case 1.5 has since been released, so it's immaterial
 now.
