 I was just about to upload a patch...
 But great this is even better than my solution! (and simpler)
 The reason why it fails is just that cygwin-core-setup.py is outdated.

 one question: (because I'm quite the noob...)
 If I want to upload a modified version of numpy-1.4.1 do I have to
 overwrite the old version, or shall I rename it with numpy-1.4.1.p0.spkg?
