Attached a new, combined patch which removes some unnecessary uses of
`random_element`, cleans up some of the documentation, and adds doctests
for `NotImplemented` functions inherited from univariate power series
(c.f. [http://trac.sagemath.org/sage_trac/ticket/1956#comment:4 comment
4]).
I now have (agian) the patch passing its own tests and documentation
building without warning; `make ptestlong` is currently in progress on
sage.math.
