I just tried it on 32-bit !OpenSolaris and it worked ok. It will clearly
need checking on Solaris 10 on SPARC too, as that's a supported OS.
There are some directories:

I think in a case like this, it would be worth deleting the Microsoft
Visual C stuff. That could be added to the {{{Special Update/Build
Instructions}}} Since Leif intends overhauling the package, he might
consider that.
I guess given it's been open 19 months, waiting until Monday should not be
a major problem!
