Not true. The above reads the old path from {{{libdir='...'}}}, but then
replaces ''all'' occurrences of that (i.e. the old {{{$SAGE_ROOT}}}) by
the new one. So perhaps really this was interrupted on the machine where
LINBOX failed to build.
