There is currently a problem with ecl and signals.
With the current initialization, interrupting a computation does not work
well.
You can try the example of sage.interfaces.maxima with maxima as a lib:
{{{
sage: from sage.interfaces.maxima_lib import maxima_lib as maxlib
sage: maxlib('sum(1/x^2, x, 1, 10000)') # or bigger to be convinced
}}}
and hit Ctrl+C immediately.
