The benefits of unexpected snow ... It looks like the gap3 problem was due
to some unqualified references to {{{name()}}} in
sage.interfaces.interface, where it should be {{{self.name()}}}. Patch
attached, but since this was a rather low-brained search-and-replace, JP
should check I didn't miss any/didn't change any erroneously.
The one pickling problem is the only issue left!
