I'm currently running "make ptestlong" to check for errors we could have
missed.
As soon as it is finished (say in a couple of hours), I'll post a new
version of "split_and_refactor" including the following patches:

trac_7377-split_and_refactor.patch
trac_7377-interface-namefix.patch
trac_7377-pickle-fix.patch
}}}
And a minor change I made inbetween which is in none of these patches
(setting the "name" of maxima lib to "_maxima_lib_" rather than
"_maxima_").
Is that what you wanted (there will still be successive patches applied to
maxima* files... however) ?
