 Here is a patch to fix the interact function. It was only broken because
 python_to_ecl did not convert unicode objects.

 My workaround is to convert the unicode object to an str object and
 convert that object as before.

 There is surely a better way to do it, feel free to post a better patch
 and I'll integrate it to split_and_refactor instead of this one.
