Volker, I tried again with the old atlas-3.8.4 (i.e. the package which I
originally said didn't work) and after 4 attempts at building Sage, it
finally succeeded.
However, I think this is still a regression, because I did not get atlas
build failures usually (even with SAGE_PARALLEL_SPKG_BUILD=yes).
I will need to do some more testing.
