Comment:
We should probably merge this ticket first since it is more low-level. I'm
happy with it, so positive review for everything except
`trac_11342_crypto_fixes.patch` and
`trac_11342_fix_pari_initialization.patch` (which I wrote). Simon and
Jeroen already reviewed those somewhat trivial patches, so everything is
good to go.
