 Ok, I see it is in `$SAGE_ROOT/start.log`.  Not immediately clear from the
 `Makefile`, and having it in `install.log` as well wouldn't be bad either.

 From `start.log` alone (which is always appended to), it isn't clear what
 happened inbetween (i.e., the relevant parts of `install.log`), and
 conversely, from `install.log` one doesn't necessarily see whether running
 Sage succeeded.  Having the date and time (UTC) there (in `start.log`, but
 in general in `install.log`, too) wouldn't be bad either.
