Jeroen, this is again on sage.math, right? It does work for me on
sage.math:

Given the mysterious (at least to me) build failure for R, did you get any
other strange errors while testing? It could be a hardware problem. But if
R and PALP are the only two issues then its unlikely that I would be on
both tickets....
