Yes, I am using gcc 4.5.1 (compiled myself,
{{{/home/jdemeyer/local/bin/gcc}}}). Default `CFLAGS`.
But I also realized that I '''have''' compiled and tested PALP
successfully before, so the problem is not always reproducible. Could
there be a race condition in the `spkg-install` or `Makefile`?
