I'll provide a patch asap of course, that's basically trailing whitespaces
(e.g. last lines of your patch) in your lines and too long lines (e.g.
first line of your patch) and wrong indentation for some doc (e.g. first
line of your patch).
It's just that the current patch do not apply on 4.8 and as compiling
atlas on my computer takes ages and installing properly atlas on my debian
seems broken...
More seriously, you also removed the lines
"Also, there are limits to the precision to which Maxima can compute..."
I agree that we do not raise an error anymore, but Maxima can still not
compute up to that precision.
You also left the stuff about waiting for an answer on Maxima's list, but
IIRC there has been an answer there, so what is done is not really a
workaround, but rather a decision from Sage developpers.
