I misread it. The line I quote indeed is correct, but there is no top-
level hg repository, unlike every other (well, every other recently
updated) spkg.

abort: There is no Mercurial repository here (.hg not found)!
$ ls -a
. .. SPKG.txt spkg-install src

I see, these things are actually under revision control in src/sagenb as
well. Sorry for the noise. Great work, all.
