I have been thinking about how to rewrite the code to allow arbitrary
objects as generators, but i don't see how to do it. My code is basically
a wrapper around gap freegroups and finitely generated groups. So
internally we have to stick to the gap structure. Maybe it could be
possible to "cheat" by just creating a dictionary that relates the
arbitrary generators and the string generators, in such a way that you can
change the output.
Right now i am in a conference, so i can't work on the code until next
week. And even then, there are other things that have higher priority on
my to-do list. But if someone wants to step up and make a patch with the
feature you mentioned, that would be great.
Anyways, i think that it would be better to have something simpler but
that works fine for the moment, and once that is merged, start working on
extending functionalty.
