issue, but it seems that the build/install works. Right?
Can't one use the current ATLAS spkg on Itaniums instead of the new one?
Or there are incompatibility problems?
Itaniums are not a dying breed, at least AFAIK Intels still plans to
release a new Itanium chip this year. So just hoping that they'd be gone
soon is too optimistic. Should we try getting Clint Whaley access to an
Itanium machine?
