I note that on OS X, the test suite doesn't run, even if ATLAS is built.
This could perhaps be dealt with on a follow-up ticket? Maybe only skip
self-tests if

or something like that?
More seriously, I'm having problems with this on the skynet machine iras.
I'm building Sage from scratch, using the spkgs from this ticket and
#13160. The ATLAS build started about 15 hours ago, and nothing has been
written to the log file for at least 6 hours. I'm going to quit and
restart the build...
