We need to develop a database migration process for the portal (as
mentioned previously). It is a fairly
critical task which should come after the mysql integration is
complete.

I do NOT recommend using the encore server for runs. It isn't all that
stable, as you know. In addition, it is the server that is running our
development portal, so we could break the universe at any time. I
realize time pressure is making it difficult, but I still think the
portal should be running on a server at your location and administered
by a system admin of your choosing, who you can depend upon to be
available during your runs. I don't think you can expect that kind of
service from OISE/UT at this time.
