When my sister and  had chicken-pox back in 1958 my mother gave us a bath in 
water in which Neem leaves were left overnight after the scabs had fallen. In 
fact, I believe that this is done all over India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and 
Sri-Lanka to this day.
