In my recollection of the Mando, and training for it, 2 people (groups of people) stand out in particular....Mr. Jose Cordeiro and Richard, Nicholas, etc They both did a superb job. If I remember correctly, the Saligao troupes (both juniors and and seniors) almost always made it to the top and came home with some kind of award.
Glad to know there's talk about reviving the Mando, and perhaps bringing back some of Saligao's past glory.
