Thanks for that.If I remember among the girls there was Milena,Nalini, Karena or Lisa Carneiro, Richard, Buddygirl- Joanita,myself & manymore. I cant remember which boys were in it.I think Diego was in it and maybe Savio or his brother and Glen not very sure of the boys.They may feel shy to own up now. Were you in it as well. Clara is Nicholas's wife and she used to be our teacher in Lourdes Convent that's the connection. We sang- Tu boro distai munnon maman tuca vichoon nui re kadlo and we used to feel really shy to look at the boys then and one of the dulpods was Kini, Kini zatta kanna kodde. It was nice we had this proper mando outfits stitched for us and had open fans in our hands. The best part was going to sing for the Mapsa competition and we had to be really quiet and well behaved in the back which was very difficult as we were a naughty bunch. I am sure I have got all of you'll thinking about this now. If you'll had forgotten about it. It was gosh so long ago and we have all aged now. But I am glad that Nicholas and Diego are doing something for Saligao kids so that when there are shows at Kala Academy these kids can go and represent Saligao. Hope all goes well for them. Seeing that short clip brought back happy memories of the first kids mando group of young Lourdes Convent kids that Clara and Uncle Tettu (Richard's dad) had trained to take part at the mando festival's that had just started during those years. We had an opportunity to take part in the Mando Festival's along side the adult groups in Mapusa and Panjim. If I remember vaguely we did win one of them.
