Hmm! A "bit" late eh???
Grrh! Better late than never! Strange that the word "hardship" is used now
when it has been felt for quite a while!
Scary! Coliforms??? E-coli amongst them presumably ....jeez! My folks are
supposed to carry out a test on our well water too,.. who knows how far the
"forms" have travelled underneath eh? not forgetting the filled septic tanks
around us & perhaps a few "dug-in-the-ground holes"!!! (the alum or the
potassium permanganate might not have done the trick!) Better safe than sorry!
Kudos to all Saliganvkars involved in getting this topic the attention it
should have got way back whether it is air pollution or water pollution. And
as someone mentioned in their posting, it is easy for us away & out of Saligao
to expect things to get done or to criticise when things are not getting done
... I for one know how difficult it is (old story repeated often) & do really
appreciate all efforts. Thanks!
