Hi Annette, I very much remember Whispering Hope, despite being terrible at
singing. Largely to please my mum, I studied the piano for 2-3 years with
Miss Margaret, as we called here. Only recently, I came to know more about
her roots when I read her family being mentioned in Yvonne Vaz's book *Songs
of the Survivors*. We have a whole lot of talent in the village which lies
untapped! FN
