We need to take this matter up with the Chief Minister and Panchayat Minister to ammed the V.P. Act & Rules to make it compulsory for house owners letting houses to foreigners to obtain NOC from the Panchayat in each case and then also obtain permission from the local Police Station. Roland Martins can be consulted in this regard as it can be started as a GOACAN initiative.

(if we had one, we could have given the list to the govt. to assist in this investigation).
- that all foreign nationals, staying illegally in Saligao - without proper visas and passports - be deported immediately. - that each Saligaokar, sees it as her / his obligation to report the entry of any foreign national into their vicinity, who is not an established, legal resident, whom they know personally. - that the Panchayat makes it mandatory for every villager to report the presence of any foreign national who rents out their premises. - that all businesses, especially builders and contractors, as well as local residents, desist from employing illegal immigrants, like Bangla Desh, African and other nationals, who reside here against the law.
